Working for a large retail organisation we are currently seeking and Employee Relations Manager to deliver excellence within this fast paced team.
The role
Reporting into the HR Director, the successful Employee Relations Manager will provide leadership and expertise on a wide range of ER issues & interventions, in particular business change and growth, reviewing the strategic as well as operational impact of these.
Responsibilities will include: To advice and influence on organic and diversified business growth through acquisition and disposal (including TUPE transfers and PPP/PFI); To lead and develop a team of ER Advisors ensuring that their decisions, actions and advice aligns to the Company's vision and values, and current HR policy & legislative backdrop; To build management capability on a range of issues and identify and communicate the likely impact of external developments including changes to employment legislation throughout the business; and set and maintain high professional standards so ER becomes a Centre of Excellence and the Business is classed as an “employer of choice”.
The person
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of a senior employee relations position within a commercial organisation, preferably retail and multi site. On top of which you must be able to demonstrate PPP/PFI/TUPE knowledge and experience. Of course up-to-date and expert knowledge of employment law legislation is a pre requisite. The successful applicant will possess excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills, as well as the ability to manage and develop a small team. Graduate CIPD or equivalent
