Excellent opportunity for a junior HR professional to broaden their experience whilst supporting a HR department through a period of change and will assist in the process of ensuring that that the basic HR functions are managed during the transition period.
You will assist in devising and implementing systems and procedures including Equal Opportunities policies and writing new job descriptions (including job evaluation and grading issues) and managing the day-to-day processes of appointment; involvement in the full recruitment life-cycle from preparing draft job descriptions, to arranging interviews, attending interview panels and providing feedback to candidates; responsible for HR administration concerning a wide range of processes and relating to appointments, contractual issues, induction, performance management reports and appraisals, sickness reporting, annual leave, disciplinary matters (first contact with University HR Service) resignations, references and maintenance of staff databases.
You will be ideally part qualified CIPD with previous administration experience within HR operations administration; strong IT and administration/organisation skills; confident communication skills; team focused with a positive, professional approach.
