My client are a national professional services business looking to open brand new offices in the Greater Manchester area. A well-known, well-established organisation this is a great opportunity for a forward thinking, innovative and confident HR professional to really make an impact within a business, and be responsible for the setting up and maintenance of the new offices. Duties will include; * Employee Relations - Sole responsibility for providing advice and guidance on grievance and disciplinary issues, ensuring correct procedures are undertaken in line with company policy * Recruitment - Source, develop, manage and maintain the support staff for the new offices including agency liaison, conducting interviews, managing offers and ensure the effective on-boarding of new staff * To assess and address training needs regularly and support the company policy and guidelines on training programmes * Be responsible for facilities management within the office ensuring the office runs smoothly and effectively on a day to day basis and ensure that offices are maintained in accordance with lease agreements * Procure contract services, liaise with contractors and maintain service level agreements in line with best practice * Be responsible for office Health and safety issues This role requires an innovative individual with a broad skillset and a positive approach. Previous experience of facilities / office management coupled with a strong HR background is essential. You must be a strong communicator and maintain a professional yet friendly approach at all times.
