HR Manager - Major Retailer
£38,000 - £42,000 per annum.
HR Manager at a Retail Giant – Central London base – liaising with staff across the UK – Applicants Urgently wanted!
The Role:
Maintaining good HR practice with a varied client portfolio and the coordination and HR strategy for a nationwide market leader are key to the role. All of the standard skills of retail HR are extremely relevant to this role. Key responsibilities include:
•Strong knowledge of hiring and firing laws and practice.
•Liaising with Directors and line managers.
•Employee relations and resolving grievances
•Internal Recruitment
•Talent spotting and development
•Managing a large HR team.
Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate should have five years relevant HR experience (with two in management), as well as a high level of retail industry experience obtained at a major firm. Fully CIPD qualified candidates, or equivalent, are preferred. Other necessary skills include:
•The skills to direct, appraise and monitor staff
•A rational and methodical approach
•Effective organisational abilities
•Efficient problem resolution techniques

Location:
The role is based at the company headquarters in Central London. The office site is five minutes walk from three tube lines and a mainline station, making the journey to and from work stress free.
