Job Description

HR Manager (interim) at Internet Gambling Firm

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

HR Manager – High growth industry– chance to be part of a small expert team – Applicants Urgently wanted!

The Role:

The successful candidate would be required to consistently excel in delivering and managing HR for the firm, with a strong “hands on” presence. The role is a 12 month fixed contract to fill in for a career break. The requirement is largely operational with salient concerns surrounding employment legislation and the implementation of a competent hire and fire policy. Other responsibilities include:

•Liaising with the external processing partner on payroll issues.
•Managing and negotiating procedures with agencies.
•Coaching, guiding and where necessary disciplining HR and general staff.

Who we are looking for:

The ideal candidate should have three years relevant HR managerial experience preferably within a small, high powered office environment. Candidates should be fully CIPD qualified with an undergraduate degree, or equivalent, as well as take a keen interest in HR developments. Other necessary skills include:

•The ability to direct, appraise and monitor staff
•A friendly and approachable demeanour.
•When asked, contributions to strategic planning with board members.
•Effective organisational abilities
•Efficient problem resolution techniques

The client is one of the UK's fastest growing Internet gambling sites, with a rapidly expanding customer base. New trading and price competition technology, along with high advertising expenditure, has lead to the firm securing a profitable market position.

Location:

The role is based at the company headquarters in South London. The office site is 10 minutes walk from two separate tube lines and a mainline station, making the journey to and from work as simple as possible.
