Wellbeing Officer
£36,293 per annum
Can you turn creative ideas into grounded action for the development of the Church?
As part of the Methodist Church's newly reconfigured development and personnel sub-cluster, this new role will advocate health and wholeness in working for the team, focussing on employee welfare and engagement, to establish a culture that reflects our Christian identity and promotes the physical, spiritual, psychological and emotional wellbeing of the team.
Reporting to the Director of Development and Personnel, you will work closely with key team members to create and maintain an environment that promotes wellbeing to support the development of a healthy working culture within the organisation and to determine how the profile of wellbeing initiatives can be raised to meet operational needs.
An experienced HR generalist, you will be up-to-date with current employment legislation and best practice in employment issues including healthy working cultures.
Creative and resourceful, you will draft, develop and implement relevant processes and procedures including performance management systems. You will have excellent relationship management, influencing and negotiating skills, and approach tasks positively and with enthusiasm to drive the initiatives forward.
