HR Advisor
My client, a world famous voluntary youth organisation, are currently recruiting a HR Advisor to be responsible for the provision of an effective operational HR service.
Duties for the HR Advisor will include:
- Manage and review the process for recruiting staff
- Manage operational activities within the department
- Line manage the HR Administrator
- Manage the weekly and monthly payroll
- Participate in the development of the HR business plan and budgets
- Report on recruitment, turnover and sickness
- Assist managers with any staff management issues
- Assist the HR Manager with the annual learning and development plan
As the HR Advisor you will have excellent communication skills, have previous experience of UK employee relations, experience of handling restructures and redundancy, be used to managing a computerised HR system and have experience of employment law and best practice.
Desirable experience for the HR Advisor includes training experience, previous experience of working in the public or voluntary sector, knowledge of Health and Safety and the business planning processes and line management experience.
