Training Officer/ Trainer/ HR Trainer/ CIMA

Our client mines approximately 3 million tonnes of Potash ore per annum. The surface processing plant produces 1 million tonnes of finished product, which is used predominantly in the fertiliser business. The product is shipped by road, rail and sea to customers worldwide.
They currently have an opportunity for an experienced Training Officer to join their Surface Operations Department. The main purpose of this role is to train and develop people in line with the learning and development strategy, to ensure that they continue to meet their statutory requirements. Working with their senior managers you will be required to design, deliver and evaluate training to meet the needs of the surface and Teesdock operations departments.
The successful candidate will hold or be working towards the A1 assessor award and will demonstrate competence to train through qualifications such as a CIPD Certificate in Training practice or similar. Applicants will come from a mineral or chemical processing background and will have experience of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation is essential for this role.
