A niche manufacturer based in the North West has an urgent requirement for an H&S Manager to take the lead for H&S for a site employing in excess of 600 staff.
With a proactive, can-do attitude you'll be responsible for implementing Health and Safety policies and procedures and assist the site in working towards OHSAS 18001 accreditation. You'll also manage 1 health & safety officer and be an integral part of the management team.
Your skills & Qualifications;-
-Candidates MUST hold the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
-Have experience of implementing and maintaining OHSAS 18001
-Ability to produce clear, soundly reasoned documentation in prose suitable for translation.
-Experience of developing and implementing occupational and operational risk management systems.
-Excellent presentation, communication, influencing and motivating skills.
-Management experience within a similar role is a key requirement
-IT Literate
-Suitably qualified candidates MUST also come from a manufacturing background
