Just as the development of HR never stops, neither does my client's growth. Because of their continued success and development, they are now looking for a capable and qualified HR Business partner to join their team to cover the needs of their Southern region.
With a split of 50% operational HR and 50% project work, this exciting new position offers a mix that will satisfy both the hands-on as well as the more strategic and proactive side of your nature. Effectively hot-desking at the different sites across your region you will be in full control of your diary, managing your time as necessary according to the requirements of the business in each.
The operational side of your work will include employee relations (all aspects, managing processes from beginning to end), performance management, some aspects of development, and continued advice on people management to site leaders. Recent projects include relocation of service centres (from closure, to relocation of staff and management of their new settling in,) harmonisation of benefits and introduction of a new HRI system.
As the successful candidate it is essential you are an indepedent and capable HR professional. You must possess excellent organisational skills as well as employment law knowledge (including a good track record of managing processes, including tribunals if possible.) You will be fully CIPD qualified and be highly flexible on travel according to the needs of the business (some shifts work unorthodox hours and you may be required to deal with issues while they run.)
