My client is looking to recruit a field based HR Business Partner to provide HR expertise to the regional team that supports the overall business strategy. You will partner with specialist functions to deliver commercial solutions that improve business and employee performance and build management capability.
Key Responsibilities
Succession Planning & Retention
•Create and implement Regional HR strategy
•Develop retention strategies and contribute to the talent management process
•Act as a performance coach, facilitator, counsellor and link into the succession management process.
•Conduct exit interviews, identify themes and potential solutions
Performance Management
•Provide expert advice on performance management issues for the region to grow the capability of managers and teams
Employee Relations
•Support and coach where necessary in investigation, disciplinary and grievance situations
•Work with managers and employees to manage sickness absence in line with policy and procedure
•Manage any transfer of undertakings and ensure process is managed within legal and company timeframes.
Training
•Partner with L&D Manager to ensure managers and employees are equipped with the skills necessary to carry out their jobs
•Partner with L&D Manager to ensure that development programmes are relevant to business and function's needs and promoted accordingly in line with succession management process
Pay and Reward
•Understand the reward issues relevant to the region
•In partnership with HR team, ensure effective execution of the annual salary review process and other employee benefit programmes
Skills/ Experience
•Ability to think strategically whilst delivering a high-quality operational HR service.
•CIPD qualified
•Proven track record in delivering effective business and working to demanding targets
•Previous experience of working in a multi-site environment
•Good networking and negotiation skills
•Flexible and open to change to meet the varying needs of the business
•Ability to influence attitudes and opinions of others and gain agreement
•Good problem solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy
•Able to travel extensively and stay away on business
