Our client has a need for a 6 month maternity contract for an experienced HR Business Partner. Our client is a world-leading provider of power systems and services for use on land, at sea and in the air, operates in four global markets - civil aerospace, defence aerospace, marine and energy.
The role offers the opportunity to support the business in its drive to improve levels of Employee Engagement and Satisfaction.
Working with the relevant management team the role will help measure levels of engagement and satisfaction across the business and provide guidance on implementation plans and necessary interventions.
The role will also provide help and support to execute a Leadership Development Programme which has been underway in the business for a couple of years aimed at improving the skills of all Leaders across the business.
A key requirement of this role is to implement Corporate initiatives and requirements into the local business. Examples include;- Drugs and Alcohol Policy, Women's Network and Working Time Directive etc.
This role is also responsible for the co-ordination of the Training process during 08 / 09 and managing the training budget.
The role will also be responsible for providing assistance in delivering the key requirements of the Businesses Communications Strategy.
Essential Experience
CIPD Qualified.
Fully experience in the HR field as a professional advisor.
A successful track record in providing a generalist HR service
A proven track record in accomplishing a couple of specific projects.
Up to date Employment Law knowledge.
Ability to support multiple projects / activities.
