Our client, a leading retailer are looking to recruit a regional HR Business Partner to be based in the South West.
As a key partner, you will drive the business through enabling leaders to successfully attract, develop and inspire people. Together with Operations you will create a local vision, strategy and direction for all HR aspects taking account of the national priorities.
Purpose of Retail HR:
Anticipating future business needs
Providing an efficient HR service
Quantifying HR contribution to business profit
Being integral in business decisions
Driving a cost, colleague and customer culture within the business.
The main focus of the role will be coaching Managers in developing a performance culture coupled with maintaining HR Business to add value to the business. Other areas which fall within the responsibility of the role include; reviewing, analysing and adapting store mix and contract hours across the area in line with business requirements and demonstrating business impact through actively seeking internal and external solutions. Area and regional resource and succession plans will form part of this role as well as identifying and delivering on key actions required on a quarterly basis.
The ideal candidate will be:

• An experienced HR professional with regional experience ideally in a retail or service environment
