Job Description
My client believes that the key purpose of the HR function is to create the right environment which attracts and engages high performing individuals to deliver excellence for the business. The function's approach is a mature and pragmatic one, challenging where appropriate and professional in all areas of delivery. This role will support in the delivery of an HR plan for a defined client organisation to improve business performance and achieve business objectives.
The objective of this role is to provide proactive and reactive specialist advice in all aspects of Human Resources to the client organisation and will involve the following;
1. Provide employee relations (ER) support and advice to client organisation on discipline and grievance, poor performance, managing for health, organisational change and harassment, etc in line with corporate policy and procedure.
2. Provision of advice on employment law and trade union agreements to client organisation.
3. Develop and manage effective internal HR relationships (e.g. training and development, resourcing, etc), providing a seamless delivery of HR services.
4. First line advice for benefits and the management of pro
We are looking for someone who is immediately available. You will ideally be CIPD qualified or studying towards and would have worked in a unionised environment.
Our client are well known within the Transport sector
This is a fixed term contract paying up to £45K pro rata
