Job Description

HR Adviser – Based Henley on Thames
Circa £45k plus bonus plus benefits

Within the UK, Invesco primarily operates under the ‘Invesco Perpetual' brand and has offices in London and Henley on Thames in Oxfordshire.

The Invesco Perpetual business is currently looking for a skilled HR practitioner and relationship manager to take responsibility for a front office client base of approximately 160 heads including investment, trading, product development, institutional sales and specialist funds. You will work with business heads along commercial lines, influencing decisions and providing a full generalist offering aligned to their needs. In addition, with a functionalised global HR structure in place, opportunities to work on global projects such as talent management and reward are widespread – naturally, this will raise your profile across the group requiring the building of effective relationships with peers in other offices particularly in the US where Invesco's headquarters are located.

Technically, this role will require a candidate with a strong generalist HR background across the broad spectrum of HR generalist subjects and first class relationship management skills. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a demanding and highly intellectual client group and therefore robustness, credibility and strong interpersonal and influencing skills are essential. Previous experience of working in financial services (ideally within a front office group) would be a distinct advantage although not essential.
