My client, a leading global business is looking to recruit a Senior HR Business Partner for a minimum of 12 months to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR generalist looking to expand their experience into a strategic environment. Reporting to and working closely with the UK Head of Human Resources, you will be involved in delivering the operational HR strategy and initiatives. In addition, you will be involved in all aspects of an HR generalist role including: Providing advice and support on people issues that meet the strategic and operational objectives Develop and implement initiatives to drive employee performance Advise on, and ensure, effective organisational design Deliver resource and succession planning processes that deliver optimal performance Develop and deliver change management programmes Manage a Human Resource Advisor to ensure excellent HR customer service The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge of employment law, have fantastic awareness of HR best practice and business acumen and have excellent inter-personal skills. You will have the ability to influence and challenge at a senior level and be CIPD qualified or equivalent. Your HR background should ideally be based in a Retail or Logistics sector and travel is required as part of the role.
