Job Title: HR Business Partner Salary: c£45,000 c£55,000 + Bens Location: Bath Ref: 20331/RP The Background A leading high tech IT and engineering organisation is currently seeking a HR Manager to sustain its position as an employer of choice and to define and implement a HR strategy and policy plan in line with the business needs. The successful individual will also coach, support and guide the senior team so that their working practices are leading edge. The Role and Responsibilities With the support of a small HR team, you will provide a forward thinking, business focused HR service to c220 employees based over 2 sites. HR Policy defining progressive HR policies and practices which drive increases to human productivity, commitment and morale; alignment of those policies and practices to the growth goals of the business. Organisational Change specialist support to the Chief Executive and the senior team so that changes to structure, working practices and HR policy are successfully implemented and sustained; facilitation of top team workshops. Recruitment and Selection managing an outsourced recruitment process in order to attract a highly skilled workforce; final selection interviews and induction. Training & Development management of the design and delivery of training initiatives including technical training, management training/development, coaching and mentoring, career development and succession planning. The Person Of graduate calibre and MCIPD the successful candidate will have strong generalist HR management experience within a results orientated, private sector SME environment with some of this experience gained working within a Systems/Software/Defence/ Transport Engineering environment. With excellent project management experience together with experience of resource planning/resource management you will have a business-focused approach together with extensive experience in managing major change and developing forward thinking HR policy in tune with the needs of the business. You will be an effective communicator who can quickly gain credibility at all levels you will possess strong negotiation and facilitation skills.
