THE ROLE
As a Divisional HR Business Partner your role is primarily to take responsibility for managing and supporting the delivery of the business and commercial agenda through the delivery and engagement of the HR agenda. In this position you will need to Identify and work through the options and considerations of issues and apply knowledge in finding workable solutions. You will represent our client in a positive, motivated and enthusiastic manner in line with their company core values. Key Responsibilities:
• Delivery of robust HR processes that underpin core HR activity, i.e. recruitment, absence, ER etc
• Delivery of HR KPI’s in line with the business plan
• Maximise talent to create a diverse workforce
• Strive to maintain and achieve world class employee engagement
• Build relationships and links with divisional/national HR teams to drive national HR agenda
• Inspire and enable teams to take ownership
• Championship business facilitation
• Role model coaching
• Support and drive a service culture
• Develop a high performance culture
• Act as a change agent
• Drive vision for First and Only for home improvement
• Partner the Regional Manager to make First and Only a reality and to drive the operating model
• Coach and develop Unit Managers and Regional Manager to lead their teams in driving capability and talent
• Support the Regional Manager to achieve great business outcomes
• Develop the HR population to deliver outstanding people practice
• Contribute towards both National and Divisional outcomes
Key responsibilities will include:
• Support the Regional Managers & Human Resource Manager on strategic HR and operations initiatives
• Drive employee engagement, briefing and co-ordinating Human Resource projects
• Facilitate management development reviews and management resource planning processes
• Support new store openings and revamps.
The ideal candidate will:
