Job Description

You will be responsible for delivering a professional HR Business Partner service to functions and businesses. This will include managing, developing and directing the site HR Generalist team.
Your key accountabilities will be:-
Resourcing: resource planning, interviewing, redeployment and induction.
Managing employee training and orientation programmes.
Developing training plans and leading high potential development and succession planning programmes.
Forecasting and monitoring the salary bill and ensuring pay benefits are consistently applied and benchmarked where applicable.
Maintaining and developing union and/or employee representative relations, advising on employment law/best practice and managing redundancies where applicable.
Supporting the Performance Management and Salary Review Processes.
Identifying, initiating, leading and supporting HR projects as required.
Managing the recruitment, performance and development of the site HR Generalist team.
You should be of graduate calibre with a strong HR Generalist skill set with experience of managing people to deliver an improved HR service. Experience of working with trade unions and of TUPE would be a real advantage. Excellent communication skillsneed to be combined with ability to drive change.
