An opportunity has arisen for a HR Business Partner in one of my clients based in Wiltshire. The focus of this role is to build and maintain partnerships with managers providing bespoke commercial HR solutions by developing people plans & strategies. These strategies will in turn enhance people capability ensuring achievement of the overall business strategy. They are looking for an HR Business Partner, to provide a first class HR service to our commodities trading business. This exciting and challenging role will be responsible for providing the essential pro-active HR support needed to achieve key company targets against a backdrop of international integration, of this dynamic business Key accountabilities: Provide direction, support and delivery to Commercial and Business Support management teams in terms of their people planning strategy. Provide the full spectrum of resourcing activities to ensure that each business function has the most efficient and effective resource in place at all times. Provide proactive day-to-day HR support to managers and employees on a range of issues including contractual terms and HR policies and processes. Develop effective partnerships with functional teams identifying key tools and drivers to improve business capability & support business goals. Lead on Performance Management cases, liaising with relevant parties such as Occupational Health and legal advisors to realise a positive outcome. Develop and maintain business partnerships with all HR stakeholders including Organisational Development and Reward. Manage global mobility activities. Support and undertake all activities involved in business merger and acquisition processes. Support all HR projects and strategic enhancements to deliver optimum HR process efficiency. The ideal candidate profile will include: Extensive experience within a generalist HR Business Partner role having worked in a fast paced, commercial environment ideally within the financial services sector. Proven track record in resourcing having managed both volume and complex recruitment activities. Experience in Expatriate management would be advantageous. Ability to build strong working relationships with client groups and to understand wider business issues. Understanding of complex pay and benefits structures would be beneficial. Confident communicator with excellent networking skills; must be a self starter.
