EMEA HR Business Partner - Basic up to £75,000 + Bonus Berkshire
Global technology group are seeking to appoint a HR Business Partner for one of the global business units to proactively work with the sector head (based in the US) on business and HR matters across the globe whilst reporting to the VP HR International. Support the VP HR International with other initiatives outside the Americas. This position will be largely operational.
The successful candidate must be PC Literate and posses a proven expertise in all aspects of HR, including employee relations, training, knowledge of employment legislation, compensation and benefits. We are seeking an individual who is committed to results, is customer focused, innovative and has the desire to work in a team environment with constant change.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Working within a matrix environment and partnering with regional HR Mangers to deliver a quality HR service
• Work with the business unit leader relating to business matters with a HR impact
• Attend business meetings, adding value and supporting the overall achievement of the business
• Manage/execute regional and global projects/initiatives
• Work with and partnering regional executive teams on management development, coaching and mentoring initiatives
• Implement support strategies to sustain growth plans
• Provoke thought within the executive team and challenge the business to ensure best practice and efficiencies
• Pro actively participate at senior level
• Proven track record in developing and delivering creative business solutions
• Change Management: Interface with management team on issues ranging from resolution of issues arising from company changes.
• Responsible for managing projects and working with other global regional HR representatives to implement HR initiatives across the world as and when business needs dictate
• Responsible for co-ordinating and liaising with HR Managers to review, update and implement HR policies, practices and programmes applicable to the business unit through other HR employee’s
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
• Considerable experience of working/driving pan-EMEA and global projects
• A second European language required preferably Dutch or French
• Prepared to travel globally up to 40% (considerable long haul)
• CIPD or equivalent would be desirable
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experienced in a proactive HR Business Partner role
• Proven experience in all aspects of HR
• Keen interest in business and how HR contributes to the overall success of an organisation
• An innovative, self-starter needing low level management time and attention to perform day to day responsibilities.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure.
• Must be committed to achieving results and enjoy working in an environment of change.
• Must be computer literate
