My client, a public sector organization based in Reading is looking to recruit an HR Advisor on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a new position created after a recent TUPE acquisition so total group employees now total circa 400. As part of this change period, you will be the first point of contact for staff, line managers and the Senior Management Team on all HR issues within a specific location, provide support and approval of the monthly payroll changes liaising with the outsourced payroll provider. You will also take the lead on specific projects within the HR function such as Recruitment, Sickness Absence, Maternity and Pension reviews. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a change environment, preferably with some TUPE experience and is flexible in approach but focused on delivery. Good organisational and time management skills are a must, with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload in order to meet unexpected or short deadlines, with minimal supervision. This business will also help support and pay for CIPD qualification.
