Our client, a well known UK wide business and consumer brand is in the process of a major corporate reorganisation. They are seeking an experienced HR Manager / HR Business Partner / HR Generalist to be part of a project team managing the resultant redeployment and potential redundancies as their operating division is relocated from West London to Berkshire. JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE To support the relocation project by conducting consultation with all affected employees and managing, advising and resolving all employee related queries To support managers with the recruitment process PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Carry out consultation meetings with all affected staff Manage all administration concerning consultation Identify staff who are unable to transfer and raise these cases with the Team Leader Calculate redundancy payments Carry out all redundancy administration arrangements Ensure that all staff requests for outplacement assistance are met Provide support to managers and to ensure that all leaver meetings are carried out Identify recruitment and training needs Assist managers with the drafting all job descriptions and person specifications for vacant role Prepare job adverts and identify most cost effective sources in which to advertise Assist managers with planning for interviews Organise and assist managers with interviews Keep the Team Leader informed of all vacancies Liaise with payroll to ensure all affected staff are allocated their additional travel allowance To succeed in this role you should have gained prior experience in corporate redundancy, relocation or restructuring projects and be familiar with all aspects of the consultation and redundancy process. The project is expected to last approximately 6 months and will start by the end of October.
