Brought about as a result of a slight HR restructure, this superbly varied role will see you joining a diverse and matrix-based structure to offer a full generalist HR Advisor service to a defined client base within the UK/European region. You will work as part of a motivated and friendly team, reporting into the HR Manager for the UK (all based in the same office.)
Your specific responsibilities within the role will cover:
- Co-ordination of international assignments
- Advising managers on HR policy and procedure
- Supporting on employment issues across other regional territories (Scandinavia, Ireland, Italy, South Africa, Russia and the Middle East)
- Recruitment and selection for specified departments (up to and including middle-management level)
- Ad-hoc project work
- Management of the induction review process with new employees
As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate a past generalist HR record, with strong knowledge of UK employment legislation coupled with exposure to an International remit (although this doesn't need to cover all of the countries listed above.) Ideally fully CIPD qualified, you will have great employee relations skills and be an excellent communicator, able to deal with all levels within the business. You should have a passion for HR and be enthusiastic about working in an environment where HR is a key player in supporting the business.
