Our client, a world renowned leader in their field is seeking to appoint an experienced HR Officer / HR Adviser to the role of HR Adviser. As a member of the HR Business Team for the client area, the role of the HR Adviser is to ensure the best use of human resources and human resource management opportunities. This will be achieved through supporting the development of a business culture at a senior level within the client area, working closely with clients inputting to business strategy and actively supporting its implementation. The objectives for the role will be aligned with the operational needs of the client area and will include: ensuring that day to day processes and developments in the client area are underpinned with sound human resource management information and data ensuring that HR advice, role design, work allocation and grading considerations are aligned with business needs proactively promoting good HR practice and employee relations aligned to the organisation's policies and procedures giving information, advice and guidance supporting the achievement of client area strategic objectives ensuring current UK employment legislation and university best practice are embedded within the client area. The role holder will assist in the management, development and support of a team of junior staff in order to deliver the objectives for the role
