Our client is an internationally recognised leader in its market and they have an exciting opportunity for an HR Officer to join their team based in Peterborough. This opportunity represents a superb chance for an HR Advisor/Officer to further develop their HR career in an organisation that can offer real opportunity.
Based in Peterborough, the company has identified the need to recruit an enthusiastic and positive HR professional who is looking to join a progressive and forward thinking organisation.
The ideal candidate for this role will already have a good HR generalist background and should be able to demonstrate a track record of achievement within HR. You will also ideally be CIPD qualified or at least working towards the qualification. Previous experience within a unionised environment would also be an advantage.
Key responsibilities –
•Design and deliver HR plans
•Co-ordinate recruitment initiatives
•Monitor long term sickness and absence and develop action plans to reduce
•Monitor leavers and exit interviews
•Advise managers on disciplinary and grievance issues
•Deliver HR training to staff as required
