Our client, a leading international beauty and cosmetics brand is seeking to appoint an experienced HR Generalist / HR Advisor on an interim basis for a period of 12 months to cover for a maternity absence.
Purpose of the Job:
To support the HR Manager in the delivery of all departmental objectives and by pro-actively managing the HR team deliver all tasks to our customer's expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage, develop and coach the Human Resources team to deliver their job descriptions, the departments priorities and customer expectations which include Starters, Leavers, Transfers, Maternity, Absence and assist in the administrational advertisement and recruitment of Company vacancies.
Advise staff and managers on employment law and keep up to date with new and existing legislation.
Responsible for advising on employee relations issues to all levels of manager up to director. Ensure the delivery of all written communication, checking standards and details of correspondence sent by the department. Support managers by attending disciplinary hearings when necessary.
Manage and monitor grievances for the Company and identify any patterns that could result in discrimination or action being taken against the Company.
Responsible for ensuring that the flexible working process is actioned and delivered in an accurate and timely manner by maintaining the flexible working log and working to within legal time limits.
Manage the process for manager benefits which include healthcare and travel insurance and pensions ensuring that all staff and managers receive information on any changes to the schemes.
Responsible for ensuring that exit interviews are completed for all leavers by all managers and ensure that the results are monitored and analysed and suggest action where appropriate in response to the data received.
Responsible for the Human Resources induction of all managers which should include information on all current processes and procedures that are relevant for the delivery of effective people management.
Responsible for the management of long term absence within the Company, ensuring that advice is given to managers the monthly log is kept up to date with key information and progress meetings and doctors appointments are carried out.
Design and deliver all necessary Human Resources training programmes alongside the HR manager to ensure the proactive development of all managers. Ensure ongoing coaching is achieved and relevant updates to the training is delivered.
Responsible for ensuring that the annual salary review is completed by the HR team and communicated in a timely and accurate manner to the payroll department. Ensure all administration is actioned and delivered within the required timescales.
