My client are a busy and well-established service organisation based near Warrington. This vacancy has arisen due to continued growth and expansion and will provide the right candidate with a great opportunity for commercial exposure within a fast paced environment. This candidate must be able to 'hit the ground running', as you will be working in a small team of two. Duties will include;
- Complex and sensitive employee relations issues relating to flexible employees and Head Office staff
- Research and produce appropriate employment related policies and procedures that support business needs
- Support and advise on resourcing strategies and methods available
- Liaise with managers to identify and implement agreed development and where necessary design and deliver training
- Provide appropriate generalist HR advice and support to managers when required
- You will also take ownership of the employee handbook and be responsible for its maintenance
- Assist in maintaining a stable and motivated workforce within a positive culture
To be successful in your application you must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to establish credibility and develop and build good working relationships with colleagues of all levels.
You MUST be currently working at HR generalist level with hands on experience in delivering training initiatives, managing effective employee relations and be able to demonstrate a willingness to increase your expert knowledge.
You will ideally be CIPD qualified or be working towards the qualification and be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment where you will have to 'think on your feet'.
