Legal Recruitment Assistant Leading Law Firm - to £28k
This international law firm has a role for a recruitment assistant covering the recruitment and international transfers of their fee earning staff. The role will cover:-
To assist the team with arranging interviews, summarising evaluations and dealing with all related paperwork.
To respond to and liaise with applicants and candidates.
To manage incoming resumes/CVs and applicant flow.
To assist in keeping the LawCruit database and internal candidate tracking database up to date.
To assist with the Summer Associates program for the London office as required and including the organisation of accommodation, offices and the social programs.
To assist with the arrival of attorneys from overseas including housing and other items as required.
To assist with the administration of on campus interviewing in the US where London attorneys are participating.
To assist with providing the London HR department and the Payroll Coordinator and with the required information.
To set up files for each new attorney and ensure that all paperwork is complete before handing over to HR.
To assist with the arranging of professional photo sessions for new attorneys.
To assist with other legal recruiting tasks as required.
Complete special office and/or firm projects on various issues as needed, commensurate with the position.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
· Well developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the Firm. Develops and maintains a courteous, professional and effective working relationship with clients and other representatives of external organisations.
· Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion.
· Organisational skills needed to manage time well, prioritise effectively and handle multiple deadlines.
· Confidence and discipline to work relatively independently.
· Knowledge and proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office, and other programs relevant to the role.
