The Background
This leading manufacturing organisation is currently seeking a HR Officer to provide a pro-active generalist HR support service to the management and employees of this busy site.
A great developmental role this position is challenging yet rewarding, with the opportunity to become heavily involved in operational HR initiatives and make it your own.
The Role
Working 3 days on and 3 days off on a 12-hour shift pattern.
Reporting to the HR Manager with one direct report, the successful candidate will face a challenging role becoming involved in all aspects of human resources. You will become an integral part of the business and support and advise managers and employees on the full spectrum of Generalist HR issues, from discipline & grievance to absence and performance management, recruitment and selection, policies & procedures, Trade Union Negotiations and other HR related issues.
The Person
The successful candidate will be Grad CIPD qualified with experience of working within a highly unionised manufacturing or industrial environment at an advisory level, trade union experience is paramount. With the ability to influence managers together with managing or mentoring employees, you will be seeking a new role within an organisation that will give you the opportunity to progress your career.
