Working within a retail environment, my client is searching for a proven HR leader who can develop and deliver projects based around management information, employee engagement, and organisational effectiveness. You will act as an enabler to good business decision making through the provision of meaningful Management Information that will be driven out through business process efficiency and best practice. Proven project management skills are essential.
The data that you provide will give clarity as to how the business is performing from a commercial perspective, and what people processes need to be addressed to improve employee commitment, motivation, performance, and in turn customer satisfaction and improved business profitability. You will link people strategy to bottom line commercial measures that drive increased profitability.
You will integrate standardised reporting of relevant people data across the exec, senior management, and management populations and ensure that management buy-in to agreed reports and embrace them as a facilitator to achieving balance scorecard KPI’s, and drive corporate behaviours that differentiate and progress the business towards being market leaders in identified markets. Your approach will support the integration of evidenced based HR across the organisation.
Employee engagement analysis, cultural assessment and culture development will also be paramount. You will collate and work with staff satisfaction data and provide strategic insight into areas for further development in order to improve employee engagement and strengthen that all important psychological contract.
You will advise on attraction, retention, attrition and absence data and link this to organisational behaviours such a management capability, career progression, and leadership strength. You will drive strategies to increase openness and trust across the organisation.
Having recently gone through merger and acquisition, change management and associated integration experience is highly desirable, covering corporate integration and developing associated people process to bring together manpower planning and associated budgeting and forecasting.
You will lead ad-hoc projects with organisational scope such as an external analysis of corporate compensation and benefits packages, and how these impact onto employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.
