Job Description
Due to organic growth, a regional HR Advisor is required for a position covering the East & West Midlands areas. Working with one of the most prestigious manufacturing organisations in the UK, you will be leading a business unit of approximately 700 employees, building upon your excellent experience of employee relations and change management in a demanding but highly rewarding position. Key Responsibilities:
Working within the HR business unit, you will be part of one of the most fast-moving and service orientated units in our client's portfolio. As the HR Advisor, you will:
Deliver generalist HR support with a strong bias towards employee relations and change management
Work alongside business management and directors to co-ordinate action plans on change management, specifically redundancy and integration (TUPE)
Interact with unions as and when necessary to ensure successful resolution to conflicts and assist with negotiations as required
Undertake day-to-day and more complex employee relation cases, up to tribunal level.
Skills Required
To become the HR Advisor you will have:
Practical experience of leading redundancy programmes and working knowledge of TUPE processes
Ideally be CIPD qualified or equivalent with relevant experience.
Had regular experience of complex HR issues including working with unions, and have a good understanding of ER e.g. modified grievance, unfair dismissal.
Excellent client relationship skills, including having previously worked with key stakeholders
