Job Description

Based from the Manchester office, you will also look after the Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle offices. As HR Manager you will have a team of 3 and enjoy a varied role as detailed below:

Key Responsibilites Include:

1. Support the local and firm wide delivery of Talent and HR initiatives, identifying opportunities in the business to support the achievement of strategic goals
2. Employee Relations – Provision of advice and guidance to line management on people issues and ability to manage more complex and contentious issues. Identify and mitigate risk. Advising on the appropriate use of capability, disciplinary and grievance processes.
3. Manage the annual performance management cycle and key processes, including feedback and consistency processes and data analysis.
Management of bi annual salary and promotion review and key processes including analysis of performance ratings, consideration of market data and implementation of this in the context of the Firm's strategy
4. Manage and/or provide support on HR projects as required for the business areas and/or the wider Firm - Ad hoc project work
5. Analyse MI to identify key performance indicators, trends etc and use this to recommend appropriate interventions and influence business strategy
6. Management of team including coaching and developing team members who are based in different locations.
7. Talent Management

Key Experience and Skills Required:

An experienced HR generalist to manager level, with CIPD or equivalent qualification
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build, maintain and develop relationships with senior partners and clients.
Team player with excellent organisational skills
Ability to take ownership and use initiative to resolve problems.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines
Ability to deal effectively and establish rapport with people at all levels
Ability to exercise appropriate level of judgement
