Organisation Description
As one of the UK's leading independent travel companies, our client is looking for a pro-active and customer focused HR officer to join their dynamic team. Based in Preston, you will be providing support for 500 employees in dealing with a variety of generalist HR issues.
Job Description
The role involves providing managers and employees with general advice on HR policies and procedures. You will be assisting and supporting the companies Disciplinary & Grievance and Health & Safety procedures, as well as offering further support to managers around attendance. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of new HR projects and initiatives
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified or equivalent, with a motivated, can-do attitude. You must have a working knowledge of Health & Safety and attendance management, and experience in dealing with sensitive issues in a confidential manner. The client is looking for a team player who can communicate confidently and remain calm under pressure.
