This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing HR Advisor to gain some invaluable experience within a large utilities provider and a market leader. In this 6 month FTC you will be the first point of contact for your client group, will be given lots of responsibility and have a challenging and rewarding environment to work in. As HR Advisor you will provide generalist HR support to the client group as well as specific project work relating to that group. Your key activities would include:
• Working in close partnership with business managers to identify problems and opportunities which the regional HR business plan must address
• Plan, resource and direct discreet HR projects and services in line with plans to improve business performance in response to requests from the business
• Provide HR advice to managers
• Look at ways to restructure the department and streamline processes
The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified or equivalent. Relevant HR experience in a similar environment is essential. Previous exposure to a trade union environment is highly desirable.
