A truly global superbrand are looking for an HR Advisor to work in their Basingstoke office on a 6 month contract paying £140 per day (c£35000 pro-rata), to support senior HR staff with various operational duties of a generalist nature such as: Leading the investigation of disciplinary actions and some of the early stages, including coaching line managers on procedures and policies when necessary Documentation of key HR System related processes (and supporting updating of HR process that have an impact on either HR Admin or payroll procedures) Dealing with grievances and Performance management Absence management in line with company guidelines Assisting with general recruitment and related issues Acting as the point of contact for HR within the business Dealing with all queries in regards to Maternity leave and entitlement Holding exit interviews and completing leaver paperwork Database management and general administration Because of the immanent nature of this role, we're only considering candidates who can start on or before the 3rd of November 2008. As well as this, In order to be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have: - Experience or knowledge of the following employee related situations: -Disciplinary -Maternity -Grievances -Performance Management -Absence Management - Good knowledge of aspects of Employment Law concerning the above - Excellent organisational and project management skills - Confident and effective, able to communicate effectively at all levels - Self motivated - Team player able to engage at all levels. - Adaptable with a can-do attitude.
