The Background
A global leader in engineering with over 90,000 employees worldwide, offering excellent development opportunities are currently looking to recruit a Senior HR Advisor – due to internal promotion - to join their growing multi site international organisation.
The Role
Joining a dedicated HR team reporting in to the HR Manager, to provide a full generalist HR service to the business. Main responsibilities will include – but are not limited to:
· Employee Relations
· To develop a partnership with managers to enable effective HR support and delivery of solutions
· Recruitment & Retention
· To assist with employee development and work with managers to draft and implement the training plan
· TUPE
· Performance & Reward
· Advise line managers on employment law
· Projects
The Person
The successful candidate will be a motivated and organised individual with good communication skills. Ideally of degree calibre and CIPD qualified or equivalent with generalist HR experience and hands on experience in TUPE and ideally from an engineering or manufacturing background. A full driving license to travel to other UK locations is required – including overnight stays.
