Senior Training and HR Advisor (Human Resources Officer)
Winchester, Hampshire
Salary £30,000 plus Excellent Benefits Package
Our client currently has an opening for a Senior Training and HR Advisor to join their team in Winchester. The post holder will specialise in training whilst providing a full generalist service to all areas of the business.
The post holder will be responsible for identifying training needs within the business. This will include the design and delivery of appropriate training to support ongoing business needs and management development. Working closely with department managers, you will take measures to evaluate the effectiveness of all training activity.
The duties in this role are varied and you will also play a key role in all other areas of aspects of Human Resources including employee relations and recruitment. With this in mind, you will need previous experience in a generalist role and be able to provide expert advice to managers as required.
The successful candidate will be of degree calibre and will hold the CIPD qualification. It is important that you possess relevant commercial experience in a hands-on generalist HR role.
The role will depend on a thorough understanding of the local employment market. There will also be a need for the jobholder to have a thorough and up to date understanding of training and development, key employment law issues and keep up to date with developments when they occur. This role demands the ability to work under pressure in a results-orientated environment.
