Job Description

Job Title: Senior HR Advisor Location: Nottinghamshire Salary: £36,000 £ 48,000 + Excellent Bens Ref: 020145/CD9 The Background This world-leading organisation which are currently experiencing a considerable amount of change and growth are seeking a Senior HR Advisor to provide a visible, comprehensive business aligned HR service for a specific sector within the business. The Role Reporting into the HR Manager although working autonomously supporting c300 employees within a highly technical division you will be responsible for building and maintaining high quality effective relationships with the client group business managers. The responsibilities of this position include: Report and participate at the management board meetings on HR issues and initiative progress as required Link the business plans and the HR plans to ensure a consistent approach supportive of the business strategy and delivery Support business initiatives as require, such as restructuring, change management, bidding and acquisitions Actively contribute to a programme of internal HR process improvement and development supporting the implementation of the initiatives Manage all day-to-day HR issues including disciplinary and grievances, absence management together with manpower and succession planning. Providing direct line manager support to a small HR Team. The Person Preferably MCIPD with proven experience of managing a multi-site operation, you will have a sound generalist HR knowledge together with experience of issues such as TUPE and Employment Law Youll be a strategic influencer who is flexible in their approach. Comfortable with rapid change and have the ability to build strong relationships within this fast-paced leading organisation. This will require candidates who are both experienced in multi site roles and flexible regarding travel. This is a challenging role for a HR professional which will ultimately open up fantastic career opportunities.
