HR & Development Manager
Hertfordshire
£37,000 - £42,000 plus benefits
One of UK's largest and most successful Leisure outlets is looking to recruit a new HR and Development Manager. You will be responsible for a team of 9 and instrumental in designing and implementing a wide range of HR initiatives, such as performance management, learning and development and succession planning whilst working closely with Directors, in aligning HR strategy and business objectives.
As an HR generalist you will be involved in all aspects of HR including :
-Employee Relations and Change management
-Performance development and succession
-Training
-Pay and Benefits
As well as this you will be required to look at the strategic role that HR can play in the success of the company, specifically:
Working in collaboration with directors and senior management to scope and define the company's people strategy, ensuring alignment to business objectives.
Using the people strategy to define key HR deliverables and initiatives and ensure these are effectively communicated to the HR team.
Leading the HR team to effectively deliver the people strategy, heading up or supporting projects where requires.
The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified and have excellent communication, customer service and influencing skills. Ideally they should have experience in experience in working within leisure and retail. Performance and talent management experience is essential, as is multi-site experience.
