As HRBP your role will be to provide pragmatic advice and guidance to line managers on operational business HR issues, building capability through coaching and facilitation. You will work with the relevant experts in central roles to ensure policies and processes reflect the needs of the Operation outlets. You will support the core activities in the broader HR plan around joining the business, engaging our people, building capability, delivering high performance and harnessing talent.
Key Responsibilities include:
•Establish active membership of the field manager's leadership team, contributing to the broader business & HR agenda
•Responsible for building a core business partner relationship with the relevant field management teams.
•Contribute to the strategic direction of the HR function by leading and managing cross-chain project work.
•Provide up to date reporting and communication around key HR activity in the region and use as a data as a key tool for diagnosing issues.
•Provide advice and guidance to managers on people policies, procedures, employment legislation and the impact of various organisation developments.
•Play a lead role in the annual business planning and policy deployment process to include shaping the scorecard in the field and stores.
•Champion robust performance management across the chain, supporting managers in recognising high performance and tacking under performers fairly and effectively.
•Enhancing people management capability through coaching and development of the field management teams building skills, knowledge, and competencies on all issues relating to people.
•Liaise with the central Learning & Development team to ensure chain needs are fully reflected in the programmes and processes available.
•Develop in conjunction with the field teams a Talent management plan that inputs to the broader succession planning processes.
•Working with the HR Director and Senior Management team, identify the key messages and milestones that need to be communicated throughout the.
•Key Relationships - Regional and field managers, HR Business Partners and the HR Shared service.
The person:
Of graduate calibre or equivalent and ideally CIPD qualified, you will champion change, engaging with stakeholders at all levels and at every opportunity to facilitate a smooth and successful transition. Credibility, gravitas and the ability to persuade will be paramount to the success within this role. You will need strong commercial acumen and the determination and status required to make this role your own.
