Head of HR
My client, an international aid charity, are currently recruiting a Head of HR.
As the Head of HR you will provide strategic level HR leadership, implementing agreed projects and activities to support the development of the organisation and the achievement of its objectives.
As the Head of HR your duties will include:
- Lead and participate in activities which contribute to the overall development of the organisation, ensuring effective HR practice
- Carry out a strategic review of HR activities, overseeing the development of current activities and introduction of new initiatives
- Develop and implement a change management programme to assist the organisation through restructuring and development
- Develop and implement a training and development programme
- Review and implement a remuneration and job evaluation strategy
- Participate in the development and integration of HR practices
- Undertake visits to operations as required
The ideal candidate for the Head of HR role will be degree and CIPD qualified, have excellent communication skills, good negotiation skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
The Head of HR will have proven experience of working with a wide variety of people at a strategic HR level and experience of development and implementing strategic HR projects.
