Senior Interim HR Project Consultant - 6 month contract
Leading Insurance Group
50,000 to 65,000 plus benefits plus bonus
Great opportunity to join the internal HR consulting pool at this employer of choice. You will work on a purely project basis and on a variety of projects focusing on diagnosis, delivery or end to end process depending upon the business requirement. Typical projects include those focusing on Change Management, Organisational Design, Culture, Leadership and Talent and Reward.
Suitable candidates will have a strong generalist HR background gained within a large international blue chip company coupled with strong knowledge and experience of project management and the discipline required to successfully deliver projects. Another prerequisite is strong stakeholder management ability including the ability to appeal to senior managers and build quick and strong rapport with these. Technical expertise in a specialist area of the generalist remit will also be well regarded. It is essential that you are commercially driven and are able to be persuasive when promoting HR as a genuine value add to the business.
Role:
- Manage and participate in projects, change programmes, HR and organisational initiatives across the full spectrum of HR and business activities.
- Effectively provide high quality HR activity.
- Successfully deliver tailor made business solutions.
- Effectively measure HR activity and value add, utilising MI, customer feedback and tracking mechanisms
- Engage stakeholders (HR team, specialists, business etc) in support of initiatives
Person:
- Experience of generalist HR working in a complex business or consultancy environment
- Project management experience
- Experience of diagnosing and solving problems
- Experience of coaching and developing people
- Flexibility and change orientation - the ability to work in a new and adapting matrix based structure with a large volume of high priority tasks
- Be aware of and comply on an ongoing basis with the rules and requirements of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and any other legal/regulatory/risk management frameworks
