The Background
This well-established leading organisation, is seeking a HR Officer to train and develop into a generalist HR professional. This role will require providing a proactive HR service consistent with policy and employment legislation.
The Role
Working with the HR Manager you will assist with employer and employee related queries including, discipline, grievance, capability and performance management. You will assist with projects, including contract mobilisation, company integration and TUPE Transfers (in and out) and you will also develop skills in dealing with trade unions and employee representatives.
The Person
Ideally CIPD qualified (or working towards) you will be a self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative. From a HR background you will have strong excel and project planning skills and excellent working knowledge of employment legislation. Previous experience of redundancy or TUPE transfers would also be advantageous.
