Our client is a provider of outsourced infrastructure support services principally to the utility sector.
They are now recognised as a leading provider of support services across its seven divisions and works in partnership with a large number of commercial, public and utility organisations.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join the team based in Morley, Leeds. The main purpose of this very generalist role is to provide an efficient and effective HR service to the company. Within this role, your main responsibilities will include assisting managers on the implementation of best practice people policies and procedures, developing and delivering training courses and building credibility of the HR function through close and effective liaison with colleagues. You will also be expected to negotiate and liaise with recruitment agencies and trade unions, contribute ideas, suggestions and appropriate data and produce letters, contracts and reports.
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role previously and will be CIPD qualified (or part qualified). You should have some experience of working within the commercial / private sector and of administration within a HR function. It is essential that you have a working knowledge of HR concepts, strategies and theories and of employment law along with an excellent commercial focus and good planning, organising and coordinating skills. You will have the ability to approach all tasks with confidence and you will be extremely customer focussed. Good IT skills, especially with Word, Excel and PowerPoint are a must for this role along with the willingness to travel and a full, clean UK driving licence. You will be quick to make decisions and will trust your own judgement and will be fair, honest, intuitive and perceptive.
