The Background
A reputable charitable organisation with a proven track record in international Christian Aid, is currently seeking to recruit an experienced HR professional to head up the HR initiative at the Head Office in the South East.

The Responsibilities
The company is offering the opportunity to join a high achieving HR function based in their UK head office. The position will give you the opportunity to offer a generalist HR service, acting as the first point of HR, offering advice and support where needed on this relatively new addition to the business. The ideal person will be a successful team leader as this role is to provide strategic level HR leadership, implementing agreed projects and activities to support the development of the business and the achievement of its objectives. The HR team provide recruitment and induction and support services for the UK and Overseas staff teams (working in conjunction with the business) and ensure policies and procedures are in line with legal requirements.
The Professional
As a Christian organisation, they are seeking those who share in the Christian values and beliefs of the organisation, as described in the mission, purpose, values and beliefs statements of the company. This exciting challenge will require a strong organiser and relationship builder, so you will have to have strong team working skills, but also have the ability to work to your own initiative. Preferably CIPD qualified, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of management within a HR environment.
This position should interest individuals interested in excellent HR involvement, but also encompassing that important element of Christian belief.
