A media company is looking for an interim resource to support their business for a minimum of 3 months.
Purpose:
To be the HR point of contact for the London site.
Duties:
• To advise both managers and employees on any HR issues
• Point of contact for changes in the business such as change of hours, restructuring, change in contracts, change and performance management.
• To be an active member of the London based management team, attending regular meetings.
• Performance management - discuss issues with managers and to take proactive action.
• Disciplinary and grievance - to attend meetings to provide hr support, taking formal minutes of the meeting if required.
• Employee absence - to monitor and be pro-active in managing any employee who is in the long-term sickness absence, attend employee meetings with the line manager, absence correspondence, liaise with the occupational health supplier.
• Co-ordination of the recruitment and selection process for all London based vacancies including interviewing with line managers.
• To assist in the design and implementation of HR strategies, processes and procedures with the department.
• Ad hoc project management
• To deliver employee induction training and HR training as required.
• To oversee employee benefits for London site including the renewal on an annual basis
• To oversee the annual salary review for the London site.
• Appraisal reporting.
• To provide cover for other sites as required.
• To deputise for the Head of HR as required.
