The Background
A large High Street name is offering the opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a proactive and high achieving HR function based in their UK head office. The role is both demanding and rewarding and involves all aspects of HR, from dealing with day-to-day queries from all departments, through to working on long-term change projects for the business.
The Responsibilities
The position will give you the opportunity to offer a generalist HR service in an Advisor capacity, acting as a support service as the first point of contact for HR, you will offer an operational HR consultancy service to managers ensuring compliance with organisational policy. You will provide support to management on the recruitment process, including arranging interviews, inductions, filing and a generalist HR backbone. You will also offer support and coordination to other generalist issues, including ER and performance management.
The Professional
The successful candidate will have administrative experience gained ideally within an HR environment. You will be educated to graduate level, with CIPD accreditation or working towards. This exciting challenge will require a strong organiser and relationship builder, so you will have to have strong team working skills, but also have the ability to work to your own initiative. Strong experience of employee relations is desirable.
