HR Assistant at a National Law Firm - to £28k
The role consists of departmental administration duties and will primarily support the HR Manager and HR Officer in addition to the wider team in their duties. You will be providing them with the relevant weekly and monthly payroll reports for auditing and assist with preparing and maintaining starter and leaver documentation. This includes preparing all relevant offer letters, contracts and starter packs for new joiners and sending out acknowledgement of resignation letters and ensure copies are filed in brought forward file. You will also be involved in general HR coordination and be required to arrange exit interview for all leavers with appropriate member of the HR team and ensure that all relevant departments are notified.
A successful candidate will have good PC knowledge to include, Word, Excel, Outlook, HR Systems (preferably PeopleSoft) and excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels. Our client is looking for someone with a proactive approach and will prioritise and work to tight deadlines. You will need to be capable of taking responsibilities and seeing projects through to completion.
