My client, an international law firm with numerous offices in 4 continents of the world are looking to recruit an HR Assistant to support the Administrative HR Manager. In this role you will be required to work with the secretarial and support functions of the business, which will include preparing correspondence such as offer letters, reference letters and arranging interviews and probationary meetings etc. Handle administration for maternity/paternity leave and flexible working requests, update the HR database with holiday and sickness absence, preparing induction schedules and liasing with secretarial coordinators and float secretaries to organise secretarial cover arrangements. You will also be required to provide full secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Administrative Relations Officer, which will include diary management, opening post and updating holiday charts. The ideal candidate will be in a similar HR Assistant position within a professional services environment (preferably legal) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
